Dr. Karen Ostrov, founder & principal of Konect, combines 20 years of professional leadership experience as a licensed psychologist, educator, public speaker, group facilitator, author and faculty member at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Dr. Ostrov serves on the Business Workshop Committee of the Middleton Chamber of Commerce. She was profiled in an article by Katherine Keller in the April 19, 1999 issue of the The Madison Business Journal. She received her Ph.D in psychology from Marquette University, a Masters Degree in counseling from Washington University, and a B.A. with honors in psychology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Ostrov has attained certification with the National Health Service Providers in Psychology. Other professional affiliations include the American Psychological Association, the American Group Psychotherapy Association, the Wisconsin Women Entrepreneurs, the Madison Association for Psychological Type, and the Madison Area Business Consultants. Licensed as a mental health practitioner in Wisconsin since 1981, Dr. Ostrov
has maintained an impeccable record of upholding the psychologists'
code of ethical standards. Her stock in trade is helping people successfully
navigate through a maze of complex human interactions. She has applied
this talent with skill and sensitivity in both personal and workplace
